When your dog gets up from the bed after a nap, his or her joints are not warmed up. The elastic filling allows the dog to get up without straining its joints or muscles.

Wash it in the shower!
With Oxymesh® material, washing doesn't scare you. Simply unzip the cover and remove the filling.
Rinse out the filling in the shower or with a garden hose using cool water. Then shake it off and leave it to dry. In a few hours the mattress will be dry.
Throw the cover in the washing machine and wash it at 30 degrees. Once dry, the dog bed will be as good as new!
For our cover, we chose a 330 g/m² fabric that is fully claw- and tooth-resistant. Here are the test results the fabric has undergone:
The tensile strength test shows a situation where the dog grabs the cover with his teeth and tries to tear it. The rupture only occurred after hanging a weight of 70 kg, which gave us the highest score.
Another test consisted of rubbing sandpaper against the fabric, which simulates scratching the cover with claws. Tearing only occurred after 100,000 rubs.
A fleecing resistance test showed that after 10,000 cycles, no signs of fleecing were noticed on the cover.

How do I choose the right size of dog bed?
Choosing a Petformed dog bed size is trivial!
Simply look at the table and find the breed of your dog.
We have a solution for that too. Measure your dog from the beginning of the nose to the root of the tail when the dog is lying flat on the ground. Then add 40 cm.
The result will tell you how long the longer side of the mattress should be.

How to take care of the dog bed?
1. Simply wipe the cover with a wet cloth on a regular basis. We are well aware that your dog likes to wipe himself in the bed after walks.
2. We recommend washing the cover at 30°C every 2 weeks. Most dirt is deposited on the cover, so cleaning it is the most important thing.
3. We suggest washing the filling every month using cool water. This way you can get rid of dust and allergens inside the bed.
What not to do?
1. Just like the dog, the dog bed should not be left in the car during hot weather. The high temperatures can cause the bedding to collapse under the weight of your pet.
2. Do not use hot water to wash the filling, as the high temperature can change its shape.
3. Do not wash the cover at temperatures above 30°C, as it may shrink and not fit the bed.
